Manufacturer of Customized Array Junction Boxes (AJB) and Distribution Boxes (ACDB/DCDB)
Loop Solar is a premier manufacturer and assembler of high-quality solar distribution boxes in India. Unlike standard trading companies, we design and assemble our units using only Tier-1 components from Havells, Lauritz Knudsen (L&K), Finder, and Sighter, ensuring your solar plant meets the highest safety standards.
Technical Specifications & Variants (2025 Models)
More information:
1. Does Loop Solar manufacture its own ACDB and DCDBs?
Yes. Loop Solar is a direct manufacturer and assembler. We design and build these units in our facility using genuine Tier-1 components. This allows us to control quality, offer customization, and provide better pricing than traders who simply resell generic boxes.
2. What component brands do you use in manufacturing?
We strictly use Havells or Lauritz Knudsen (L&K) for MCBs. For Surge Protection Devices (SPDs), we use Finder, Sighter, or Havells. All internal wiring is done using certified Polycab solar cables.
3. What is the IP rating of your enclosures?
We use IClosure brand Polycarbonate enclosures which are rated IP 65/66. This means our boxes are dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, ensuring long-term durability in India's outdoor solar conditions.
4. Do you manufacture 1000V DCDBs?
Yes. We manufacture dedicated 1000V DCDBs utilizing specialized 4-Pole 1000V MCBs and 1000V SPDs. These are available in 1-in-1-out configurations for 5-10kW plants and 2-in-2-out configurations for 10-20kW plants.
5. Can I get custom wiring configurations?
Since we are the manufacturer, we can customize the internal wiring logic, cable sizing, or gland placement based on your specific plant design. Contact our engineering team for custom orders.
6. What are the dimensions of the boxes?
Our standard sizes are compact and installer-friendly:
190x140x100 mm: For Single Phase ACDB and 1-in-1-out 600V DCDB.
190x210x100 mm: For Three Phase ACDB and 2-in-2-out 600V DCDB.
280x280x110 mm: For High Capacity 1000V DCDBs.
7. Can I choose between Fuses and MCBs for the DCDB?
Yes. While MCBs are standard, we also manufacture Fuse-based DCDBs using 25A or 30A DC fuses upon request. This is often preferred for specific string inverter requirements.
8. What is the surge capacity of the SPDs used?
We use Type-2 SPDs with a discharge rating of 40kA across all our AC and DC boxes. This ensures robust protection against lightning-induced surges.
9. What wire do you use inside the box?
We exclusively use Polycab 1C x 4 SQMM DC cables (Type-1 or FR grade) for all internal connections. We do not use generic or unbranded wires.
10. What is the warranty on Loop Solar manufactured boxes?
We stand by our build quality with a 1-Year Replaceable Warranty on all ACDBs and DCDBs manufactured by Loop Solar.
11. Do you offer bulk pricing for EPCs?
Yes. As a manufacturer, we offer tiered pricing for bulk orders (1-20 pcs, 20-100 pcs, and 100+ pcs). EPCs can save significantly by ordering directly from our assembly line.
12. What is the difference between 600V and 1000V DCDBs?
600V DCDBs are used for smaller residential systems (typically 1-9kW) where string voltage is lower. 1000V DCDBs are required for larger systems (10kW+) or where longer series strings result in higher DC voltages.
13. Can I use your DCDB for a 2kW system?
Yes, our 1-in-1-out 600V DCDB is perfectly sized for systems ranging from 1kW to 5kW, providing essential isolation and surge protection.
14. Are these boxes UV resistant?
Yes. The polycarbonate material used in our IClosure boxes is UV-resistant, preventing the plastic from becoming brittle or discolored even under direct sunlight.
15. Where are these boxes assembled?
All Loop Solar ACDBs and DCDBs are assembled at our facility in Gurugram, Haryana. We ensure strict quality control before dispatch.
16. Do you sell Array Junction Boxes (AJBs)?
Yes, we manufacture customized Array Junction Boxes (AJBs) for larger projects where multiple strings need to be combined before the inverter. These can be tailored to your specific string configuration.
17. Do you deliver to remote locations?
Yes, we ship pan-India. Our packaging is robust to ensure the units arrive without damage, even to remote locations in Rajasthan, UP, or South India.
18. How do I know which ACDB to buy?
For 1-6kW, choose our Single Phase ACDB. For 6-10kW, choose our Three Phase ACDB. If you are unsure, contact our support team with your inverter model, and we will recommend the correct unit.
19. Are these boxes compatible with all inverter brands?
Yes, Loop Solar ACDBs and DCDBs are universal. They are compatible with all major inverter brands including Hitachi, Growatt, Solis, and others.
20. How do I place an order?
You can place an order by clicking the "Buy at wholesale prices" button above, or by contacting our Gurugram office directly.
